The interface reads from SQLite on your device, so every screen opens instantly — in a basement aisle, on a plane, anywhere. Writes are optimistic: your tap applies immediately.

Changes wait politely
Offline edits go into a mutation outbox. Each change is applied in a single transaction, kept with an undo snapshot, and retried with backoff — you never see half-applied state.
RECONNECT
Back online, back in sync — in seconds
When the connection returns, HomeList drains the outbox and pulls just the delta of what happened while you were away. Photos upload in the background — you see your local shot until the server copy lands.
